I rummaged through the hoard of clothes stacked on top of each other in my room. This book has been due for a total of three months and nine days. If I didn't get it in ASAP, I would have to waste $30 on it.

"Thirty dollars...I can't believe it. The book wasn't even good...not that I would know." I snickered to myself. I was supposed to read it for school...but the assignment was modified, so I didn't pay any mind to it. "I was robbed $2 for a stupid library card..." I pick up a book...

"Bathing In Sin," the title reads. Nope.

"Vultures Of Desire," the next one says. What kind of book titles are these...? 'How to Contract an STD'?

"Pilots and Roses," the last one displays. Aha, I found it. Time to bring all of these to the library...even though I only wanted to bring one. My petit self picked up the three quite heavy books and carried them in my arms. Lucky for me, I left the door open. Haha, beat that universe!

"It's still not here?" I asked the unamused librarian.

"No, I told you this already. It's been out for three months. Do you expect it to magically appear one day?" The librarian hissed at me. It's kind of true though. I have been bugging her every day since I initially asked for it. Who is reckless enough to keep a book for three entire months?

"Ugh...fine," I mumbled as I took off to sit in one of the empty lounge chairs. I then grabbed a book off the side table that read, "How To: Pornogami,"

"What the fuck...?" I silently said aloud. I began to look through it out of curiosity when someone burst through the door. I whipped my head up, dropping the book, causing the person sitting across from me to look over...in disgust. "No no no no...I wasn't reading it, uhm...I was just curious I swear!" I stammered, but the person was paying no mind.

"Hello! Anna here...you know, the person who has like 1,000 overdue books? Well, I have them!" The girl named, "Anna" said. How disrespectful...does she know people are trying to read? And 1,000 books? Yeah, no.

"Ah, Anna! About time..." The librarian said quietly. "But try not to be as loud next time, dear?" She cringed. Why is she so nice to this girl but not me? Jealous...

"Pfft..okay," Anna said. I finally, carefully, looked at her. She was short...well, shorter than me. I mean I guess I'm average height so yeah, she's short. She had her red...orange? She had her whatever color hair in a bun, letting some short and surprisingly cute bangs out. Before I got the chance to realize that she was actually cute, she walked to the counter and placed down the books...very loudly. "Here ya go!" She cheered and clapped her hands together.

"Umpf," I unconsciously mumbled. I can't help but direct my eyes to her backside. At this point, the person across from me had disappeared to somewhere, which made room for Anna. I'm not really complaining though. She turned around and plopped down across from me and looked at me.

"Hi." She said, tilting her head and smiling. I didn't answer, just sent a slight smile and placed my hands on my lap. "Hahaha~, I'm Anna!" She (basically)yelled.

"Yeah...I figured." I whispered, looking up at her. My goodness, she really was a total cutie. Haha...what the hell, how is she so pretty? She kinda looked like me but much prettier. She had light freckles that danced across her face...and I can't help but imagine kissing them. I love cute girls like her...

"Hum...why are you so quiet? Hahaha~" She questioned, quite intimidatingly. She leaned forward and squinted her eyes at me. "Is it because you're so...gorgeous!? I think that's kind of stereotypical, though. The 'gorgeous but distanced from reality and everyone around her' expectation...yanno what I mean?" She leaned back and talked, moving her hands along with her words. I was about to respond when the librarian interrupted.

"Elsa! I got your book...seems like Anna had it all along. Aha, Anna! I'm so proud!" She exclaimed.

"Proud that she brought it back three months late?" I grumbled. I was actually kind of upset. But hey, maybe she enjoyed it so much she read it multiple times. "So...how was it?" I asked, closing my eyes, finally able to relax.

"Oh...I didn't read it, haha!" She nervously laughed. Are you kidding me? Here I was thinking that the book was actually put to use...fuck her, man.

"Ar-are you kidding me?" I snapped at her. I didn't bother waiting for a reply and got up and went to the counter. "Can I have it now, please?" I asked the librarian, obviously annoyed. She handed it over to me, humming some stupid song. I'm seriously annoyed at this girl. I've been waiting for this book for three months! And she wasn't even reading it! I grabbed my bag and started to walk out, not saying a word.

"Hey, Elsa! Wait up..." Anna called out. Can she just go away...?

"What?" I hissed and slightly turned my head towards her.

"Look...I'm sorry I took so long to bring it. I really didn't think anyone was waiting for it." She stumbled, playing with her fingers. I turned around to look at her but didn't say anything. "Uhm, haha, I can make it up to you!" She said nervously. I furrowed my brow...a cute girl wanting to "make it up" to me? What...? "No no no...in a totally friendly way of course. Of course, I would need your number but if you don't want to give it to me it's fine I'm sure that we will meet again it totally seems like you are like always here and I'm not saying that you're like a nerd or anything I just think you're really pretty and I'm so-"

"Uhh, chill out. Do you want my number? You...a pretty girl?" I said, slightly smiling at her rambling.

"Yeah! You're pretty too...hahaha~" She giggled while blushing. Cutie...

"Okay...uhm sure," I said, walking closer to her. No way would I miss an opportunity like this.
