I have fallen into the beautiful world that is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and just the whole franchise in general. It's such a great anime and I honestly can't remember the last time I watched an anime that made me feel so emotions! It's also inspired me to make and write about OCs again so I'm here with a story that I hope you'll enjoy. :D

It was dark within the recesses of her mind and there was nothing but silence that filled the empty space. No thoughts appeared in their usual white streams with letters tattooed into the steady current and the floor which she rested upon was cold against her skin.

The hands were here again.

Long and black with tiny fingers that were always ready to grab and grasp. They moved with a purpose, wanting and reaching for something that they couldn't have. The lines wiggled and almost trashed around with the force that they held.

It had confused her in the very beginning when she had first encountered this deep pit that appeared to her occasionally. But then it made sense because the hands wanted to touch her and drag her to wherever they needed to be. They needed her for something but she wasn't needed yet, it seemed.

They were keeping an eye on her.

They had been keeping an eye on her for a long time now.

Her eyes slowly blinked open and she was greeted with the clear sight of them rested just outside the outline of her body. They stopped their movements as soon as she had came to and stayed stock still while she pushed herself up into a seated position. Her legs formed a lotus as she folded them and her hands came to settle upon her knees. She stared at them for as long as her patience would allow before she finally spoke.

"Will you finally tell me?" Her voice was light and airy despite the heavy question that passed through her lips. "Will you finally tell me why you keep watch over me?"

The hands that were once moving as many formed into one huge shadow that surrounded her completely. It used to alarm her before but now it did nothing but fuel her curiosity and her need to know.

"Are you working for someone?"

Silence.

"I'm important in whatever this is, aren't I?"

Silence.

A smile smile graced her features as a bright light formed in the far corner of the darkness, a warm and familiar voice accompanying it.

"Anna?"

With one last look at the darkness, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to fall into strong arms, her head pressed against a chest to hear a strong beating heart.

Edward.

And now...we head back to the start.
