A/N: Hey guys! I'm back! This time I'm trying out Hannah Montana. Jake//Miley, actually. It's kind of short, but I think it's best that way. Anyway, review please! I'll love you forever.

Jake Ryan had a crush on Miley Stewart.
It wasn't just one of those middle school "I-like-you-but-in-five-minutes-I-won't" type of crushes. It was one of those head over heels type of things.
Honestly, Jake pined for Miley. It had been that way since the first time he met her. Until Miley, Jake had never been blown off before. Unless you count that time in Teen Bigfoot, when the girl he loved just couldn't get over the fact that he was a sasquatch.
They had shared a few kisses and even dated for a while When they broke up, Jake was heartbroken. He knew he was self-absorbed, but he had grown out of it. Well, he tried. For Miley.
Then, when he filmed the movie with Mikayla, Miley became jealous. Jake knew in his heart that she had no reason to be. Sure, Mikayla was cool. But Miley was amazing.
This thought brought Jake back to the fact that he was laying on his bed on a Saturday night. Alone. He could be out doing virtually anything he wanted. But instead, he was once again thinking about her.
She would never know how he truly felt about her. At least, not now. He wasn't ready for the responsibility of holding her heart. He wasn't ready to become the man she wanted. He needed more time. More time to ready himself for the love he wanted to give her. More time to grow. He needed, but more so wanted, to become everything she needed.
Until then, she would be in the dark about his feelings for her.
She'd be in oblivion.
