AN: I know I'm working on like 4 fanfictions right now (2 are still in production) and I know I already take forever on chapters but this will be short with only 6 chapter (including an intro and outro) so relax my people. I just loved InvaderCON 3 so much I had to write this. Thank you all my buds who helped me expand this idea (mainly GarnetSpark from DA :D).

Intro

My invader blood was pumping rapidly through my veins as the car parked in the lot of the Marriott Hotel in Austin, Texas. It was hot as hell by why did it matter? IT WAS INVADERCON TIME BITCH! The third and final convention for my favorite cartoon of all time, Invader Zim. I've been planning this for months and was more than excited.

I dropped off my things in my hotel room and went back down to the lobby with my sketchbook and pencils. I sat by the TV where another girl was sitting. I couldn't see any Invader Zim merchandise clearly so I couldn't tell if she was here for the same reason as me. I just kept to myself and looked through my sketches.

"Daww, those are so cute."

My head snapped up and I saw the girl looking over my shoulder.

"Sorry." she said.

I could now see a necklace with a chibi Zim hanging from it. "It's fine." I smiled, shyly. The girl sat back down and as I sketched we made slightly awkward small talk, mainly about the con and our own fan theories.

"Man, I love Zim so much." the girl sighed. "You're drawing style is adorable by the way."

"Thank you." I smiled looking back down at my book. "Wouldn't it be awesome if the real Zim came to InvaderCON?" I asked with a giggle.

"Dude, that would be the greatest!" she beamed.

"They could like...mistake cosplayers for the other characters."

"And just imagine them meeting the voice actors."

We shared a laugh and I found myself sketching that exact scenario as we talked. Over the course of the day more and more fans joined our little circle and added to our idea. I would want nothing more in the world for that to happen. But we all know that's impossible so I'll work on my other fan-girl dreams for now.
