A/N: I s'pose this is a sort of missing scene from Stolen Earth. I wanted to write a 10/Rose and I came up with this idea while watching Army of Ghosts, when the Doctor first used Allons-y! I don't know if anyone has written about it before, so I decided to do so.
Disclaimer: Not mine. I know, it's surprising isn't it!
Allons-y Rose!
He was hugging Rose tightly, not quite believing that she was actually there, on the right side, by his side. He's got so many things he wants to tell her and things he should tell her, but probably won't, at least not yet. The Doctor reluctantly let her go and looked at her, really looked at her. She was older and she looked more mature. She smiled and he smiled back. They stared at each other for what felt like ages. And then Rose started to giggle and the giggle transpired in to a fully-fledged laugh.
"What?", the Doctor asked, looking confused and a little hurt.
"I have thought so many times, more then I dare to admit, about what I would say if we ever met again. And now I have no idea what to tell you", Rose said.
The Doctor turned silent for a while, he knew what he should say, what he had thought about telling her. But he didn't say it, not now. Instead he started talking about when he met Shakespeare and meeting the Ood again, "Do you remember the Ood Rose? The odd Ood". Rose listened with patience to his ramblings and smiled and laughed at all the right places. When he started talking about heavier subjects like Jenny and Pompeii, she gave him a hug when he looked sad. Once he had finished his long speech he slumped against the console, obviously exhausted from talking nonstop for over a half hour.
"You've seem to have had a lot to do", Rose said, the smile she gave him not quite reaching up to her eyes.
He gave her another hug and she hugged him back tightly. He would probably deny it if she asked him, but Rose was sure she felt him smell her hair during the hug. When they broke from their embrace, the Doctor looked calmer. He took a long look at her and then he smiled.
"Rose Tyler, defender of the Earth indeed. There is something I have to tell you, something very important." He looked nervous and fidgeted. "Rose Tyler I.."
There was a loud bang. It was Jack and Donna who had tried to sneak back in to the console room, but had bumped in to a toolbox on their way in. Both the Doctor and Rose looked at them, so what ever the Doctor had decided to tell her went unsaid for the moment.
"Doctor, what where you going to tell me?", Rose was determined to make him say it.
"Yes, I was telling you something. Something important. Yes, Rose I-, I-, I met someone called Alonzo!", he said, sounding slightly hysterical.
Rose looked disappointed and Jack mouthed sorry to her, he having realised what the Doctor really was going to tell her.
"Yeah Doctor, that's great", she said without any real enthusiasm.
"Okay gang, gang I like that word I should say gang more often. There's a whole bunch of Daleks out there, allons-y!"
A/N: Yeaaaahhh. I'm not really sure about this, so I would really appreciate some constructive criticism!
