Seriously

"I hate you Ronald Weasley!" Hermione screamed as Ron slammed the front door. Hermione fell to the floor tears rolling down her face. How could she be so stupid? Loving a man who doesn't take anything seriously. How could he be so stupid? Loving a woman who takes everything so seriously.

She thought about how it could end like this. There was no horrible departer during war that broke them for good, No Viktor Krum, No Lavender Brown this time. It was a stupid fight about who will make dinner. "I should have seen this coming, I knew it wouldn't last." Hermione said to herself.

She could hear the rain fall against the window. She thought back to when they were happy. After the war and Ron told her he loved her, or at Harry's wedding where they danced all night. The time when they bought their first house together. She smiled when she imagined Ron's smile in each memory, but then frowned again realizing she may never see it again.

Hermione finally got herself together, stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes. She walked out of the kitchen, she was too upset to eat. She went into her living room, hoping to forget about Ron for the moment and just watch the television to take her mind off of things. However as soon as she walked into the room she saw it.

The picture that was taken the day Ron promised to her. She watched as Ron got down on one knee and took a small diamond ring out of his pocket. The picture Hermione cupped her hands over her mouth nodding several times then getting on the ground hugging him. Hermione sat on the couch put her face in her hands and started crying.

Suddenly Hermione heard a loud thump and dust flew out of the fireplace. The first thing Hermione saw was bright red hair. She knew it was Ron.

He emerged from the fireplace dusting himself off, he then noticed Hermione was watching him. "Hermione…" He started. "I'm so sorry."

Hermione didn't say anything, she ran into his arms hugging him. "I'm sorry, I knew it would never last. If you want to leave I'll understand."

Ron looked her in the eyes. "Why would I leave I would never."

"Because." Hermione said crying again. "All we do is fight. I don't understand how you can stand me when all I do is fight with you."

"Mione," Ron cupped her face in his hands. "I love you because you're you. I know you can be bossy, but I need it sometimes. You're so smart and I need someone to tell me when I'm wrong. You helped me when Fred died, when I thought there was nothing left. You're always there for me and always will. I love you Hermione." He smiled

"Seriously?" Hermione said touching his hand.

"Seriously." Ron said then kissed her passionately.
