Midnight Movie Night or Not

Lily wants to give her fiance James and his friends a little taste of Muggle culture. She's doing this by taking them to see a Muggle movie. But not just any Muggle movie. It's the Midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. But will James and Sirius let them get to the movies on time? Slight bit of cursing depending on how you look at it.

Hey everyone. I'm back with yet another assignment for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Challenges and Assignments. This one is for Wandlore. And it is yet another bit of Marauder fluff. I hope you all enjoy.

Lily and Remus both huffed as they stood in line at the Quiddich shop. The darn Quiddich shop. Why had they agreed to go there first.

"Guys," Lily chided as she tried to get their attention.

"Lils we will be there in a little bit," James told her.

"Prongs," whined Remus, "we have to go. Now."

"No, Moony," whined Sirius. "We need Quiddich equipment. Now!" He held the brand new Quiddich pads he was getting out for Remus and Lily to see.

Lily looked at her watch. It was closing in on 11:30 at night. They had about a half an hour to get to the movie theater or they wouldn't get good seats.

"We need to go now or we won't get good seats," she explained as though talking to a child.

Remus nodded enthusiastically.

"Why do we have to see this movie so badly?" Sirius asked as the registers came into view.

"Yeah," James agreed.

"Rocky Horror Picture Show is cultural phenomena," Lily explained patiently. "It is one of the must sees for anyone interested in Muggle pop culture."

"Plus it sounds fun," Remus said as James paid for his purchases and they began to ring up Sirius'.

Lily tapped her foot as she gave her fiance and his best friend/brother a death glare. These idiots were going to make them late.

"Lils, he's almost done," James told her as Sirius paid his bill. "See we can go now."

After a quick Apparate home to drop off the Quiddich gear they head out to the Muggle movie theater. Lily walked up to the counter and smiled at the worker.

"Welcome," the girl said cheerfully, "how may I help you today?"

"We'll take four adult tickets for the midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show," Lily told the girl getting ready to pay for the tickets.

"I'm sorry we're all sold out," was the reply. "Is there..."

"I'm going to kill you both," Lily hissed at James and Sirius as they both took off down the street.

Remus turned to the girl at the counter and shook his head. "Sorry about that," he told her. "We'll try back another time." He then raced after Lily to rescue his friends.
