Yuuki rolled over in bed. She groaned as the sunlight hit her face and made her dizzy. She'd had a horrid dream that night.
She was in her dorm when Zero and Kaname crept in without her notice. She really hadn't noticed until she heard the crash. Kaname and Zero were fighting silently, rolling around the room. Zero threw a punch and hit Kaname strait in the nose.
"Zero! Kaname!" Yuuki screamed just as se woke up. It was all a dream. A terrible, frightening dream that was probably about to come true. She's been dating Kaname for a while now, but it just didn't feel right anymore. It didn't feel like love anymore. In fact, when she thought of true, pure love these days, she thought of Zero. The Zero with gray hair, purple eyes, and a sad puppy-dog smile.
That was love.
She told herself before she fell asleep that she'd explain her feelings to both lovable teens. Then she'd have Zero and Kaname would be out of her hands, right? WRONG!
Kaname'd kill Zero when he found out, Yuuki just knew it. He'd rip Zero limb by limb until he was nothing left but skin and bone. Gosh, who'd she pick for a boyfriend?
She had to drag herself forcefully out of bed and get her cloths on. She'd tell the two while the night class and day class students switched spots.
Yuuki couldn't pay attention to her classes- too much was buzzing around in her mind. When it was finally time, Yuuki pulled Zero and Kaname into the main corridor. A tear rolled down her cheek as she spoke.
"Kaname...I'm breaking up with you." she said plainly. Kaname just stood there petrified for a moment, as did Zero.
"I-I'm sorry, what? Why?" Kaname looked badly hurt, which wasn't helping the dilemma whatsoever.
"Be-because...because..." Yuuki couldn't bring herself to tell him. Luckily, he already knew.
"Zero." he whispered sadly, wishing he hadn't. Yuuki nodded her head lightly. He nodded back in response and left, leaving Zero and Yuuki alone.
"Why?" Zero asked as Yuuki made her way towards him.
"You." she whispered softly. Then they're lips met. They met right there in the middle of the hallway, for anyone to see. But who cared? Yuuki was with the one she loved.
