In the series, Yue and Sakura never came to be. This poem is a continuation of sorts, this time Sakura being 18, but still in love with Yue...
Moon Whisper
I have always loved you.
I see you at my door,
by my window
I tried to catch you, but you always slip
like the silvery rays that
filter through my room
The white orb always morphs
from one shape to another;
Your face is never still
One night, you're whole; and another,
You're gone again.
O, My silent keeper, I know you can never be still,
But though my back's already at the window,
I can still hear you whisper...
I stand by my window, and look at the moonlit sky.
It's so beautiful, Yue...
Just like you.
I close my eyes, and let the cool breeze comfort me,
it alone having knowledge of my sorrow.
I blow a kiss to the wind.
I close my window...
