"So this is the famous Lake Laogi hmm?" Asami looked at the lake. Her eyes drifted downward; down in the depths. Down towards were the infamous Dai Lai base had been located. Where the Dai Lai were still training ... as everyone learned by Kai's kidnapping several years ago.
"Yep." Korra sighed as she frowned also down in the depth. "As soon as I figure out how to; I'm going to destroy that underground prison. I'm going to make sure that no one elses decides to use this lake for evil purpouse." Her fists balled at her sides. "Joo Dee wanted this place to be a vacation spot. I'm going to make sure it honesty turns into one. This lake is meant to be enjoyed by people whom want to get away for a bit." Her spine grew stiff.
Asami turned her face to look at the stiff face of Korra. "I'll be by your side." She smiled softly.
"I wish Aang had destroyed this when he learned what Long Feng actually used it for. After Jet's murder ... Aang should have destroyed it." Korra's head turned; "Aang was too soft. I am not!" Her eyes lit up with the Avatar spirit.
"Korra. This isn't the time. You aren't in right frame of mind to destroy the underground prision and not destroy everything around us." Asami spoke in a quiet calm voice. Her right hand reached out to gently cup the side of her wife's face.
"I'm not weak." Korra's voice echoed. Her body lit the light even more brighter then before. She was ready to release the rightfully anger and finally destroy the evil that had plagued the earth for much too long.
"Come back to me Korra." Asami stepped closer to her wife. She knew that no matter how far into the Avatar state that Korra was in; that she would be able to reach her soulmate and help guide Korra back to her senses. After all that was what being the Avatar's true soulmate was about. To help prevent the Avatar from accidently destroying everything innocent around the evil place. Her fingers gently stroked the fire heated skin of her wife's face.
"Asami ..." Korra husked as her eyes took in the concern; and deep love of the green eyes just inches from her own. She realized that she almost destroyed everything around her; including Asami in her rightfully anger by going into the Avatar state to finally destroy the underground prision. "I knew I brought you here with me for a reason." She ducked her head.
"Calmer heads and all." Asami quipped gently back as she rested her head against her wife's. "We'll figure out the right time Korra. Just be patient a little while longer."
"Yeah." Korra husked as she allowed her wife's essence to calm her soul once more.
