Kagome couldn't help the groan she let out when Shouta's alarm started to blare. She just got back from that rescue mission, it was too early to get up. Why did she marry a teacher? "Shouta," she grumbled as she burrowed deeper into their covers. "Turn it off." Why was it so annoying? Why did he make it so loud? She had forgotten how annoying it was after spending so much time away.

"Mn, forgot to set it an hour later." She turned to look at him, eyes narrow as he settled back under the covers. Even though it was still dark in their room, he could tell she was staring at him. "Hm?"

"Must be a special group of kids you're teaching." She shuffled closer to Aizawa. "I still remember when you said you'd never want to work with kids after we babysat Sango's twins for a few hours." When one could swap places with objects in her sight and the other could theoretically exhale a tornado, they were children that needed constant vigilance when babysitting.

"Hero wannabes are actually manageable. Their brood of children are not." She gave him a rough poke to his side. "Four kids, each with quirks that make it difficult to wrangle them into order? I don't envy those two for a second."

"And yet you have to deal with the drama of twenty high schoolers." She teased before yawning. "I wonder if they're as wild as we were at that age."

"Well, All Might's protege seems keen on running himself into the ground, just like someone else from our class." It had gotten bright enough in their room for him to see her stick his tongue out. "Very mature."

"You have the coolest wife. Of course I'm mature." She declared as cupped his cheek, thumb tracing over his newest scar. Her face fell and he could see her start to chew on her bottom lip. "You know, if that wasn't one of the scariest days in my life, this would have been a really cool scar." She joked weakly. His hand brushed on the scar he knew was on her hip.

"You have some scary ones too." He said and put his forehead on hers. It was early on in their relationship, but he remembered the day rather well. A rescue for civilians trapped in buildings collapsed by a small group of villains. One of the villains had gotten trapped in one, and as she was searching for survivors and marking the deceased the spider quirk villain lashed out. He ripped out a good portion of her hip and injected plenty of venom into her body too. She was in the hospital for a week until the poison in her system was finally gone. "I'm just happy that we're both here."

"I am too Shouta. I love you."

"I love you too, Kagome."
