A/N I had this idea on my mind for awhile and since Harry/Fleur is my favorite pairing and I only found some stories that really gave this pairing justice (like His Angel, great read by the way), I decided to do my own little one-shot. I may turn this into a story if I get enough positive reviews though. Well enjoy :)

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or anything that has to do with it.

He sighed tiredly, there was always something that made his year go downhill and it always started on Halloween. First year it was the troll that attacked Hermione, second was the basilisk , third it was his dogfather (godfather) Sirius and now he was forced into a competition which would strip him of his magic if he chose not to compete or even possibly die. 'I thought Hogwarts was the safest place in all of England. If that's true then why does something always happen to me here.'

He thought tiredly Not to mention he hated how the student body always switched their opinion of him when the going got rough, even his best friend believed that he put his name in the cup. Couldn't he see that he didn't want money or fame, he despised his fame and wished to be normal. He would give all of that away just to feel the warmth of his mom and dad's arms around him.

He was shaken out of his thoughts as he heard footsteps behind him, he was too put out to even turn and just let whoever it was ask the same question he was inquired on the whole day. Instead he heard a voice that caught him completely off guard.

"Arry," a voice that was soft and melodious, caused him to turn and to his complete shock saw the Beauxbatons in front of him in her blue school uniform. She was utterly breathtaking, there was no doubt about that, but no matter how beautiful she was she never gave him the feeling to make an utter fool of himself or give her the longing looks that most of the male population gave her.

The fact she was there surprised him and slightly irritated him as well. He remembered her "leetle boy" comment from earlier and it still irked him.

Curiosity as to why she came, he gave a nod of acknowledgement and waited for her to say whatever she was going to and then head up to the Gryffindor common room.

"Arry, i just wished to come and apologize for my earlier comment, i had no reason to call you anything, especially to someone that I don't even know. I was wrong to call you that, and after the explanation Dumbledore gave the champions and rundown of all that you have faced I've come to apologize for my thoughtless words. Please accept my most sincerest apologies..."

'Well I didn't expect that.' Was the only thought that came to Harry's mind a the end of her speech. He saw the look in her eyes when she spoke and he could tell that she was truly sorry. And then it clicked to him as to why, she HAD experienced that due to her Veela nature. She had probably been on the receiving end, and must have had countless people thinks she was a scarlet woman or other various insults.

His eyes stop showing his irritation and instead showed understanding, and the lost sparkle that his eye had before he became a champion showed itself on that moment. He decided that since she too knew how it felt to have others think you had the perfect life, and be wrong that he at least wanted to get to know her better.

"Thank you Fleur for your apology, I forgive you and hope we may become friends after this." Her face showed her happiness as he was rewarded with a dazzling smile that had perfect white teeth and made her sapphire blue eyes shine like twinkling stars. "Thank you Arry, and I would be honored to call you a friend," she replied back her smile still set.
