Concrete Girl
A Hetalia: Axis Powers Fanfiction
It seemed like a typical day. School had just ended and Adrian had already gotten his backpack and necessary textbooks out of his locker. He was making his way to the parking lot when he noticed something. There was a girl sitting on the front steps; looking as if she had been crying. He recognised the girl from one of his classes. Her name was Katerina and she had moved there from Ukraine.
"Katerina?" he asked, walking over to her, "Is everything okay?"
"Ohh, hello Adrian" she said, seeing him, "Everything's fine."
"Are you sure?" he asked, " You look like you've been crying. If something is bothering you, you can tell me."
"R-really?" she asked, sniffling a bit.
Adrian nodded and sat next to her on the step. They talked for what seemed like hours. She told him about how money has been tight at home lately, how her younger brother and sister seemed to always be arguing over every little thing, and how her boyfriend, Alfred, had broken up with her yesterday through a text message. Adrian tried to reassure her that everything would be okay. After a while, Adrian started to notice that Katerina had stopped crying.
"I'm feeling a little better" Katerina said "Thank you, Adrian."
"You're welcome" he said, "If you ever want to talk, I'm here."
