Inner Darkness
I have been in love with the Transcendence AU, so here is my first story about it. This is rather dark, but I hope you enjoy.
It was normal summons that dragged him to a dark room surround on all sides by sigils of varying size and shape. They stung Alcor slightly, but they were nothing to serious. He decided he might as well greet the ones foolish enough to try and sting him.

As per usual it was another cult that had decided to summon him this time. Rising up from the shadows in the middle of his summoning circle he was already formulating how the screw this cult over, when ghastly sight met his eyes. There lying on the ground in front his summoning circle lied Toby slowly bleeding out in front of him with a deep gash in his chest.
Panic was rising up in him, but he let none of this show to those who summoned him. Instead his anger rose to great them.

In a blink of an eye he was beside Toby trying to stop what he could already tell was inevitable. "Toby, you have to stay with me," he pleaded in a futile hope that he could still be saved.
The blood gushed from Toby's lips as he choked out, "Al..cor...?"
Golden tears began to run down Dipper's checks as he tried keep the one he cared about alive, only to fail when with a shuddering final gasp Toby fell limp in front of him.
Alcor screamed internally and externally morning the loss of Toby, and as the screams rang out blood filled the room as the very walls began to bleed. The pain of Toby's death was too much for him, he had forged too strong of a connection with the boy. His humanity was screaming out in pain, so he locked that pain away to instead revel in the demonic nature that had remained buried within him for so long. His shark-toothed grin was the last sight the murders saw before Alcor launched himself into their midst. He revealed in their pain and bloodshed as he ripped them limb from limb. The snapping of their bones and tendons became like music to his ears. He was consumed by his hatred for humanity, and their fear of him only strengthened that hatred.
Toby meant so much to him. He was the son he could never have, his friend who saw only the best in him. Toby's innocence made him want to be a better person, but now that he was gone nothing could hold him back. In his grief Alcor locked away his humanity along with any memories or feelings that came with it, till all that was left was hatred and rage. Mizar meant nothing to him anymore as their memories together were locked away within his darkness. Now he only cared for the pleasure that deals brought him and an overwhelming desire to cause pain to the humans he so hated.
Only one last bit of his humanity remained in the form of his flock and for that reason alone he was fiercely protective of them. His lost memories left him unable to remember why, but their company made him feel safe and warm when everything else felt cold.
As the centuries dragged on Alcor became known only for his merciless nature. The deaths of the foolish and innocent by the hands of Alcor the demon became commonplace, screams of mercy falling upon deaf ears. Now only the most foolish of cults would risk his summons, and their deaths rang out from their foolishness. Alcor the Dreambender friend to children and twin star to Mizar was dead. Now only Alcor the cruel demon of nightmares remained.
