"Sasuke."

"Naruto."

Naruto took a deep breath as he looked up at Sasuke's eyes. They were spiteful. "Are you angry?"

"Not at you, why?" asked Sasuke.

"It's hard to tell." He grinned. "So I managed to grow, but never managed to outgrow you. Figured as much would happen, huh?"

As Naruto's laughter faded from a forced to genuine, Sasuke smirked. "I thought you'd be mad about that."

"Hey, I've grown in more ways than one, y'know!"

"Oh really?" asked Sasuke. "Why don't you show me what you mean, idiot?"

"Bastard, you best mean on the inside," Naruto told him.

"You say you're more mature now but still interpret what I say that way."

"You did it on purpose."

"Maybe."

Naruto placed his hands on Sasuke's shoulder. "You want me to show you how I've got more mature, ttebayo? Well, it couldn't hurt to demonstrate a bit. I think a date sounds like a good opportunity to make my growth clear."

"Fine by me, but what about Mrs Uzumaki?"

"What about Sakura?

"I needed to carry on my clan."

"She needed to carry on hers."

Grabbing Sasuke's hand, Naruto looked him in the eye. "Ichiraku?"

"Sounds perfect," answered Sasuke. He released Naruto's hand and instead put his arm around his shoulder.

"Show-off."

"You're one to talk."
