This is all about the time when NiGHTs leaves Nightmare. In these chapters, NiGHTs is going to be in deep thought about everything he has done. So in short he is going to feel pretty emo about himself.

I finally started making a difference to stop Nightmare from taking over the Real World. But the only thing I've really done right now was leaving Nightmare for good. I thought I would be fine with leaving the other Nightmarens because they don't care about the dreamers that we scare and torture, but I miss my "friends". But now my "friends" are my enemies. This thought of my "friends" makes me feel, lonely. Also this is my first time feeling lonely and it not a good feeling at all. Maybe I should sing a song to make myself feel better.

Once I finished singing I felt water coming out of my eyes. I heard about this action, the dreamers called it "crying". Wiseman said that nightmarens don't have the ability to cry. But I wonder why I'm crying? Everything is going hazy on me. Maybe I just need to close my eyes and sleep for now.
