Author's Note: I feel very on top of posting stories, so here's one for the Fannie/Odesta shippers, myself included. Thanks to my rather impromptu (and regrettably anonymous) beta. Hope you all enjoy!

He's there with her. Bronze hair and sea-green eyes, his hair always smelling of saltwater and his lips of sugar cubes. He protects her, knows how fragile she is and what made her that way. He thinks of ways to make her stronger.

She feels strongest with her hand in his, like now. She knows that she's broken and knows that sometimes she can't hide it. She finds relief in the fact that he doesn't mind, that he knows that somewhere in her mind there's the girl that he grew up with, taught how to dance, laughed with, cried with, fell in love with.

She leans her forehead against his and looks as deeply into his eyes as possible. She thinks of the beach outside their homes in District 4, of the lopsided birthday cake that she made him the birthday before he was reaped, of the beautiful wedding cake in 13, of when they first went sailing by themselves and he capsized the boat… everything.

She opens her eyes to an empty bed.

She feels the cold covers next to her.

"Finn…" she whispers, closing her eyes.

From her belly comes a tiny kick.

She looks down.

"Finn…"

Author's Note: As always, reviews are welcome! I want to know what you guys think!
