A/N: These are four haiku I submitted to VI. I'm a haiku writin' fool... just don't like showing
most of them to people. Hope you like these; I'm not particularly fond of any of them, though.
Hey-- I just noticed-- All of the titles of these poems are from the last line of each.. Ok, on
to the haiku before I write more of an author's note than there are words in the haiku.

CARRION CROW
Birds of prey are fine
Personally I prefer
The carrion crow

SO FLEETING
In just one battle
A single blade stroke means death
Life is so fleeting

IN VAIN
A butterfly caught
In a spider's web of silk:
It struggles in vain.

RAVEN FLIGHT
Its wings spread widely
As the raven takes to air.
Feathers glisten black.
