Strip poker against Odette – obviously she wins

Intriguing.

That, Mozenrath decided, was the exact word to describe how he felt towards the girl currently chained to his wall. She intrigued him. Oh, he had underestimated her at first, but he had paid for his mistake, and paid dearly. How was he to know that a princess would be able to not only survive outside the castle, but rescue her beloved street rat? It was really not his fault he didn't see that one coming, but no matter. Mozenrath had his faults, but failing to adapt was never one of them.

So, he simply factored her into his plans and continued with his quest to capture the accursed Genie. The strange thing was, try as he might, his thoughts kept drifting back to her. How she, a princess, had ruined a finely crafted plan, had trapped him in his own trap! Her cunningness was so very unexpected; he'd understand it coming from the street rat, but from a girl who had lived a sheltered life? How did she develop such abilities? Such thoughts nagged at his mind; in order to silence them, he decided to do a little research, devise some little, ah, tests of her abilities, per say. The next time he devised a trap to catch their Genie, he made sure that she'd be separated from the group, especially from her precious Aladdin. Mozenrath wanted to know what she was really capable of, without even the carpet to help her out. And wouldn't you know it; she managed to escape his trap, almost unscathed.

Almost.

As always, he had thought up a backup plan, in case she did pass his test. The princess escaped, all right, but missing a lock of hair. She probably didn't even notice it, but what she didn't know would help him immensely. Hair was the basic part of many summoning spells, and a lock was more than enough to do what Mozenrath wanted. So, a few nights after the incident, when he was sure that they wouldn't be expecting any activity from him, the supposedly vanquished foe, he got to work. It didn't take that long for the spell to be complete, and he soon had a very confused, sleepy, and angry princess standing before him. He decided that it was a thoroughly amusing combination, but a rather dangerous one, which is how he ended up with Princess Jasmine, heir to the throne of Agrabah, chained to the wall of his study. Needless to say, she was not pleased by the turn of events.

Straining against her bonds, she yelled all sorts of threats at the sorcerer, which only caused him to smirk wickedly. He continued smirking throughout her raging about what she would do when she got the chance, how he would pay, how Aladdin would notice that she was missing and find her. She noticed this, and pulled harder at her shackles, shouting that if he was going to use her as bait that it wouldn't work, that evil would be crushed, and whatever little plans he had were destined to fail.

He merely waited until she had shouted herself hoarse, then came closer, walking in an almost predatory manner. With a gauntleted hand, he slowly caressed her cheek, then whispered in her ear. That yes, he wanted Aladdin to come, that he had plans for him and his pesky Genie, but she was more than just bait for him. He was going to study her, find out exactly what made her tick, and then, who knows? There may be another use for her.

With the last statement, his smirk widened, and he cast a spell that sent her instantly to a deep sleep. He couldn't let his dangerous new toy disturb with his plans; once they were fulfilled, he'd have plenty of time to learn how to tame her. Mozenrath smiled. The possibilities were very, very, intriguing.
