My first story! It takes place in the moon kingdom, back when there was no 'Sailor Moon' or 'Usagi'. Only Princess Serenity, at least, it would seem that way…
The small, frail girl leaned over the moonlight-lit water. She wasn't surprised when she saw another girl-who looked rather like her- looking curiously back. "Hello!" 4-year old Princess Serenity said, smiling at the 'other girl.' She looked at the girl in the water. No matter how hard she tried to communicate with her, the girls lips only moved. Everyday the Princess wondered what it was like to be, all alone and only seen by her. So she decided to ask. "Hello, miss?" she said, looking into the water once more. "Is it lonely like that, all alone?" No answer, as usual. Though this time; it hurt much more. Tears streamed down the princesses face, and the same happened to the other girl. Scared she had frightened the other girl; the little girl leaned over the edge and attempted to hold her hand. It was a failure. Ripples surrounded the other girl, and-with a look of despair- the girl disappeared. Immediately, Serenity ran to her mother. "Mommy!" She cried, eyes wide and full of tears. "My friend… I tried to hold her hand and…!" "Yes?" The queen asked. Who was this friend, and why were they meeting up at such a late time?
I decided to make this short, just to see what you guys thought and if I should continue. If even one person says they like this, I'll start writing more! Sound good? ^.^
