Disclaimers:
None of the Sailormoon Characters belong to me (I'm not that creative) They are the property of Takeuchi Naoko and various companies that she works with whose names I'm not keeping track of.
This is my fanfic and comments would be appreciated. This is MY fanfic. I made up the plot by myself even though there are a lot of these types of fics….. mine is special!

Michiru stood in the kitchen staring off into the distance as she prepared salad for dinner.
"Michiru-mama?"
Her blue eyes suddenly slipped back into focus as her thoughts were interrupted by Hotaru's sweet voice, her knife slicing into her finger. She set her knife down and turned to see what Hotaru wanted. Her daughter touched her hand and Michiru watched as the pain and blood melted away. She tore her gaze away from her hand as Hotaru continued.
"Can Chibiusa come over for dinner tonight? Setsuna-mama said to ask you."
"Hai," Michiru replied. Then she turned away, rinsed her knife, and continued to chop vegetables. Hotaru left to call Chibi-usa as Setsuna walked in. She opened a cupboard, removed four plates, and began to set the table. "You'll need to set another place, Chibiusa's coming for dinner," Michiru said softly as she stared out the window. Setsuna nodded and finished setting the table. Michiru placed the salad in the center of the table along with the rest of the food as the doorbell rang. Hotaru ran to answer it.
"Konnichiha Chibiusa-chan!"
"Konnichiha Minna!"
Setsuna smiled and asked the girls to come eat. Michiru stared at the empty place across from her. After dinner she took the unused dishes and walked into the kitchen. She set the glass carefully on the shelf in one cupboard and the chopsticks in a drawer.
"Michiru-san," said Chibiusa as Michiru turned around, "Haruka-san is dead."
Michiru's clouded eyes cleared and her grip on the plate loosened and the ceramic plate shattered as it hit the floor. Michiru stared at the broken plate, horrified. She knelt, oblivious to the shards embedding themselves into her flesh. Oblivious to the blood dripping from the cuts on the fingers as she desperately gathered the pieces into her hands.
Hotaru took Chibiusa's hand and sadly led her friend away from the kitchen.
Setsuna began to speak and reached for her friend's shoulder, but thought better of it and left the wretched woman covered with blood, tears, and glass to mourn her lover.

Depressing isn't it? Sorry… It's short and it's not that great but that's ok… You don't mind…
My editor is Darkouters7 (thank you!)…. Go read her fanfiction…. It's good!
The song "Everybody's Waiting for Someone to Come Home" by the Indigo Girls inspired me to write this… (and I guess I sport of borrowed part of their title…. But hopefully they don't mind…. It was that or "An Empty Plate"[Darkouters7's suggestion for a title]) It's sad and depressing and I just sort of wrote this so anyway… E-mail me or IM me or write a review or something… please? I'm desperate for feedback… Feedback means someone's bothered to read my work…
Anyway Thanks for reading… bye
