Rukia held up a small book, which looked like one that Inoue made. "What is this?"
Ichigo looked at it, and frowned.
"It's a.. fairytale. Now shut up, and let me sleep," he said, leaning back onto his bed.
"Why won't you read it to me?"
"I hate those stories, you're annoying, and I need some sleep," he said briefly.
"But, Ichigo!"
"No."
She frowned at him. "Come on. Why not?"
"Becuase."
The petite shinigami whacked him over the head with the book. "That's not an answer."
"Please?" she said.
There was a pause.
"I know you're awake," she continued, poking him.
Ichigo hesitated.
"... Fine. Just shut the hell up first."
She pouted, crossing her arms. "What if I don't want to?"
"Rukia."
"Fine." she said, uncrossing her arms and sitting on his bed.
".. Good," he said.
He sighed, and silently hoping that she'd change her mind.
"Once upon a time.."
Rukia held back a giggle. Ichigo reading fairytales was certainly not something you'll see everyday.
