CHAPTER 1: I AM THE GIRL ANCHRONISM

"Behold the world's worst accident I am the girl anachronism" the words were glued to my head. No matter where I was I just didn't fit in. Not even at Hogwarts. I sat in the Slytherin dormitory thinking to myself. "I don't belong in the 20th century."

"No you don't," a voice in my head agreed. "You belong with Sweeney Todd."

"Sweeney Todd?"

"It's an old muggle tale from the 19th century. Mudblood Granger and Potter would know," said the voice.

"I'm not asking them." I said rather snottily.

"Make-believing that I have a soul beneath the surface trying to convince you it was accidentally on purpose." Sang the voice. "Like the time you introduced yourself as 'Johanna Barker' instead of 'Johanna Malfoy.'

It was my first year at Hogwarts. I had ran into Harry Potter and told him my name was "Johanna Barker".

"That was completely accidental," I said but I didn't regret it.

And honestly I didn't look like a Malfoy. I didn't have the platinum hair or ice grey eyes of a Malfoy. I had yellow hair and blue eyes. And I wasn't as pale. I also lacked the prejudice against non-purebloods the Malfoys were known for.

I stood up to go speak with Potter.

"Malfoy!" he called.

"Ye-" my brother Draco pushed me out of the way.

"What do you want, Potty." he sneered.

"you always struck me as the type to take it lightly but now you're gonna have to shut your mouth and fight me." the voice sang

"If I meant you I would've said ferret." said Harry cooly

I ran to catch up with Harry.

"Obliviate!!" Draco yelled.

Everything was black.
