An Update From Prongs
Due to some issues on other sites, most of you will remember that I started my own site to publish how I saw fit (nothing illegal, just tired of the slightest thing causing a story to be deleted, without notice or warning I might add).
Next, less than a week ago, I received a review belittling and insulting me for a story that was one of the earliest I wrote. To quote the reviewer's last line as well, I was told to "lean how write, idit", and no, I'm not exaggerating their spelling, nor am I trying to insult them by pointing out the person who told me that due to spelling and grammar errors, I should not publish FAN FICTION, cannot even spell a simple four word sentence.
So, what have I done about this? I've removed ALL of my work from all sites not run by me. This means that you'll need to go to my profile if you don't already have the link to my site, and then go over there to read my stuff. I'm sorry for those who like one site or another over mine, or being able to download stories, but I'm not willing to be berated and belittled by people who believe that FAN FICTION authors need to be perfect when they don't even hold themselves to the rules of grammar and spelling.
For those who like downloading, make sure to join the Yahoo Group from my site and check out the "Audio" link as well. I'm trying to find a way to have my stories (and possibly stories by others if they agree) available for download in portable form for reading, as well as converted to MP3 (granted, it's the "computer" voice, but it's still audio), so let me know what you think of those two options.
