Chapter 1: Come To Us And Play

Anton DeMarco was wandering through a foggy place. The only thing he could see was a little boy running. The deeper into the fog he got, the more he couldn't remember what he was doing. He called to the little boy, but he ran and ran. Eventually, the boy disappeared. Anton looked around at the thick fog. It made him alone and afraid. He walked forward into the mysterious fog despite not knowing what lied ahead. It felt like miles and miles of walking to him. He thought he was walking in circles. Eventually something creaked in the fog which made him jump and hit his head off of a large metal sign that appeared behind him. It read 'Silent Hill'.

Anton awoke to a creature dragging him into the middle of a street with houses on both sides in a lightened fog. The monster violently giggled like a mad man. Anton fought to break free of this insanity. After a minute of struggling, the creature grew silent and stopped. Anton looked up to notice the creature's face was a metal mask with a eyeball in the center looking straight at him. There was no mouth to laugh from. He looked directly into the eye and saw a monster inside the monster. He knew this creature. Somehow and in some way, he knew it was called a Beholder. It freaked him out. The Beholder looked back onto the street and continued along laughing which was obnoxious and dreadful. Anton struggled again until he finally broke free. The Beholder was dumbfounded by Anton escaping and ceased to laugh. Anton got up and ran as fast as he could into the fog. He took one glace behind him to see the monster just standing there and started a little laugh again. He kept on running

Anton eventually ran into a dead end where the street cut off into a bottomless pit. He stopped the breathe for a moment until he heard the laughter again. He freaked out and ran to a nearby house. The door was locked. To the next house. Locked again. He went into a nearby house across the street where it was eventually open. He shut the door behind him and stayed as quiet as possible until the laughter faded away.
