Autumn turned around and drove her staff into Flare's foot and looked deeply into his orange eyes.

"Damn you Flare, you came to help, not to wander around!", Autumn snapped.

Flare grabbed for his foot and replied, "I was just looking around, for god's sake!"

Autumn huffed and started again, but stopped herself as she realized something. The inside of the cave was covered in ice. The stalactites were as high as 100 feet above them, and some were as lucky to become in contact with the stalagmites to form an ice column. The ice reflected the bit of light that shined through above.

"How the hell are we supposed to cross that?!" , Autumn pointed.

In front of them stood a long ice bridge that led to a tunnel. Possibly the throne room. Flare shrugged, "What the hell am I supposed to do, I'd melt the whole bridge.".

Flare held the element of fire, while Autumn was a druid. They had been friends for as long as they could both remember. Their parents were great friends before they had their children.

"Ugh", she sighed, "What do we do now?"

Flare suddenly snapped to attention when he heard footsteps behind him. He quickly turned around but saw nothing.

"Show yourself!", he demanded.

In the middle of the bridge stood a young girl wearing a faux polar bear skinned hat and vest. Her skin was pale and upon her head was curly light gold hair. She wore long jeans, a long sleeved white shirt, and brown leather boots that laced up to her knees.

"May I help you?" The girl replied.

"Cry, is that you?" Autumn gasped.

The girl rubbed her eyes and glared at Autumn, "Auzy, is that you?", she relplied.

"Yes, it is," Autumn said calmly.

The girl with the golden hair ran to Autumn and hugged her tightly,

"I missed you so much Cry, but I'm on a mission, and I cant really be held up right now.", Autumn said while glancing at flare.

"Who are you," Cry said to Flare flirtatiously.

"I'm Flare, Autumns best friend.." He sighed.

"What a shame that you hold the element of fire, or you'd be my best friend", Cry contined to stare at Flame.

Autumn swung her staff into Cry's arm, making her snap,

"Well someone is protective of their boyfriend.". Cry clenched her arm to stop the pain.

Autumn hit Cry's other arm, her face was bright red,

"He's not my boyfriend! I just- I-, arg!", Autumn stammered.

Flares face flushed with red, and Autumn gave him a cold glare.

"What can I do for you?", Cry asked.

"We need to get across to see your father, Cry." Autumn said while gesturing at the ice bridge.

"Why do you need to see my father?", she replied.

Flare gasped, "Wait, the King of Glajar is your father, so you must be-"

"I'm the princess, yes," Cry replied.

"We just need to key to the forbidden library, there was said to be books that could help us find the temple of Zerradith."

"Ah, I see,", Cry threw them a pair of keys.

"How-what?", Autumn stuttered.

"He gave me the keys to put away myself but i'll just tell him you needed them, I'll take the blame," Cry said as she gave Autumn a hug and gestured them both off.

Walking through the kingdom, Autumn studied the keys. They were rusty and had the words 'Forbidden Tardov Library' engraved in the head. Suddenly they stumbled upon the library doors, and Autumn slowly turned the key in the lock. The doors opened with a loud creeeeeek and they set foot inside of the forbidden library
