I don't own House of Anubis
Note: I normally don't write romance stories, so hopefully this doesn't suck.
Nina's pov: "Newton's first law of motion states that an object in motion will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced outside force. This is also known as inertia." Mr. Sweet was saying during science class. "Boring" I thought to myself, besides I already learned this in 8th grade. My thoughts wonder from the lesson to Fabian, my sweet wonderful Fabian. I love him so much. I'm so lost in my thoughts that I don't even realize that he's trying to pass me something. That something turns out to be a note. The note reads, "Nina would you like to go on a midnight picnic with me tonight?" "Yes" I scribble in response. I'm going on a date with Fabian tonight! I can't wait! I look at the clock. It still says that we have 20 minutes left until school is out. After what feels like a century later, I look up at the clock again. Five minutes, max have passed, UGH! I try tuning back into the lesson. "Newton's third law of motion states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction," Mr. Sweet says. It's impossible for me to stay focused on the lesson. I look over at the clock again. 10 minutes left. Can that clock go any slower? "Miss Martin since you seem so focused on my lesson, maybe you would like to tell the class what Newton's fourth law of motion is?" Fourth law of motion? And then I remember, (I hope). As an answer I say, "Gravity, and how it controls the solar system." "Correct Miss Martin, and try not to let me catch you day dreaming in my class again," old Sweetie announces. "Of course not sir," I tell him. Two minutes to go until we're out of here. FINALLY the bell!
Fabian's pov: during dinner neither Nina nor I ate all that much. We were trying to save our appetites for later. Trudy knew all about our midnight feast. As a matter of fact she's the one who made it. I kept thinking about what I had planned for me and Neens tonight. I was suddenly jolted out of my thoughts by Victor saying, "It is ten o'clock, you have five minutes precisely and then I want to be able to hear a pin drop." After going to bed I kept looking at my clock, waiting for midnight to come. When it was ten minutes to midnight I practically jumped out of bed and got ready for the picnic. Seven minutes later I met Nina at the base of the stairs. I led her outside. I took her to the Sibuna clearing where I laid out the blanket and the food. I also took out some candles and lit them. After doing that I gave Nina a rose. "You are beautiful," I honestly say to Nina. She is so wonderful I wish I could protect her from all those who wish my Nina harm.
Nina's pov: "Thanks Fabian," I say blushing as I accept the rose. We begin our moon lit meal. As the meal goes on I find that I'm paying less and less attention to my food and more and more attention to Fabian. It doesn't matter that we are not saying anything. We seem to have this understanding of each other. We understand each other perfectly without words. Before long our dinner is finished, "Trudy made us some chocolate cake for desert." Fabian says breaking the silence. "Chocolate cake is nice, but…" I start to say. "But what?" Fabian asks. "I was kind of hoping to have something else for desert." I finish a bit suggestively. A look of understanding crosses his face. "Me" it wasn't a question as much as of a statement. I nod. We lean in for a kiss under the stars.
