It was a normal day in Burgess City. The sun was shining, kids were playing, people were robbing a bank, and couples were laughing together… Wait a minute, what was that? 'Someone was robbing a bank?' You shout at the screen. Well, welcome to Burgess City; the host with the most. Most crime rate that is. Sure it doesn't seem like something to be proud of, but it was the only thing this city had going for them.
Contrary to what you might be thinking the crime rate isn't so bad that you can't even walk outside in the daytime (Though nighttime is a different story) the crime in Burgess City is the worst kind. It's organized. A mass prison breakout nearly 7 years ago to the day led more than three thousand criminals to the previously sweet, and simple city of Burgess.
After they realized that petty thievery and lesser crimes were getting more and more of them caught, they decided to band together. The felons soon developed into four different crime 'families', and that's where our story leads us now. Don (as he's known as now) Overland, the leader of the Overland 'family' is on his deathbed, and his only son Jack Overland is in line to inherit the title of head of the family. Only problem is that he's off at law school and has no idea his dad's even out of prison.
