Summery: How Angel got Doyle's visions in the Birthday AU Scenes.

'He kissed me.' Angel thought for the thousanth time since Doyle had sacrificed himself to destroy that machine. 'Why would he kiss me?' He asked himself again seeing once again the same nightmarish scene his only friend since he came to L.A. grabbing him before he could jump to the machine kissing him then punching him in the face and Then Doyle was gone.
Angel set thinking about it because he'd never had any inkling that Doyle could be attracted to him. He personally had never really gone into having sex with men. Darla and Drusila were more than enough of an outlet for his sexual desires when he was Angelus and since the curse he hadn't really bothered and after Buffy he knew he couldn't anyway. But at the same time he'd never been against the idea the demon in him just thought sex was sex.
He wondered what his reaction would have been had Doyle told him when he was alive. He knew he'd never have the chance one more friend dead while he lived on alone and misereble. 'Doyle was wrong.' He decided finally. 'Reaching out is a mistake if I hadn't let him become my friend I wouldn't be sitting here wondering why he kissed me then left me alone.'
He sit there still brooding over this realization that he had gotten used to Doyle being around in the short while he was there. 'I should have never accepted whistlers offer I'd have been better off alone in that sewar.' He brooded miserebly. Then he felt it and saw someone dying the pain causing him to double oever. "Shit." He said realising Doyle has left him wiht more than confusion about a kiss. 'I have his visions.' He heard a motorcycle pulling up outside. 'Whoever it is can just help themselves.' he thought bitterly then remembered the pain that he had felt in that vision. 'Is that what my victims felt like?' he asked himself wordlessly.

Okay so this is my twisted drabble length theroy on how Angel got the visions in that future. Obviously if Angel was a champion he was no more supposed to get them than Cordy so if Doyle's feelings for Cordy made them go to her if she wasn't there does that mean he fell for Angel. I mean Doyle did say one time he was a bit attracted when he and cordy were talking.
