Summary: A quiet Sunday morning with Silver pair
Rating: K+
Morning was sometimes the worst time of day. Sunday was one of those days where Shishido just did not want to even get out of bed. Nothing you said or did could get him out from under the covers.
Unless of course, you were Ohtori Choutarou. It was like he knew all of Shishido's weaknesses (he did), and abused them on mornings such as this. Shishido had no idea when he got up sometimes. The bed was empty by the time he got up most days. He felt bad about having Choutarou do all the work when he was asleep, but he knew the other enjoyed it. Nonetheless, there was a constant nagging feeling.
As Shishido lay thinking in bed, his lover appeared in the doorway bearing a heavy laden tray filled with all the morning foods Shishido loved. As expected of his other half. It was so uncool for him to be seen like this. Even though this happened quite often.
It was impossible to not get up when he saw it though. His mouth and stomach were happily agreeing with the smells that wafted through the room.
A smile appeared on the taller man's face as he saw his lover get up with difficulty. He just knew that Shishido-san would be in one of his moods. How he knew, he could not say, but perhaps it was all those years playing tennis, and then the many years after.
He didn't mind waking up early for this person. Doing these little things to get a rare smile brought him immense joy. Spoiling him a bit wouldn't hurt. Shishido-san was like a dog in a sense: Intensely loyal and loving. There were very few things he wouldn't do for this person.
Handing the other man the tray, he sat down on the other side of the bed in the same motion. No words were exchanged between the two as the other ate. They weren't needed.
These slow Sunday mornings between the two were becoming more frequent as the years went by. Whether good or bad, it didn't matter. The big and little moments that were shared between the two were always something to be cherished, because a morning with you is the best way to start my day.
A/N: Oh look. Two in two days! Aren't I a good author? I pretty much just barfed this out while at work though. Bluh. I'm experimenting with writing styles. Have you noticed?
Oh and, review? -puppy dog face- You can have a virtual cookie if you can guess my inspiration.
