A/N: Just something random. And this is my first Harry Potter fic!

Fur Elise

Ron's got nothing to do. They're still waiting for Kreacher to bring bloody Mundungus with the horcrux. Or maybe he doesn't even have the horcrux. Harry is growing more impatient by the minute while watching the golden snitch Dumbledore left for him.

Ron notices a piano and lazily sits down on the stool. He remembers a few notes that Ginny had tried to teach him, when she was still adorable and not kissing guys.

As he's trying to play, Hermione walks out of the bathroom and smiles slightly at his attempts. She slips in next to him on the piano stool and Ron slightly jumps at her touch, since he just realized she was there. "Um…toothpaste." Ron says, his finger reached over to the side of her lips and wipes off the toothpaste. Hermione looks embarrassed and his hand doesn't move from her cheek, he just absentmindedly stares at it. Hermione fake coughs as Ron suddenly realizes that he's staring, and comes back down to earth. He tries to play it again and Hermione giggles, noticing that he has no idea what he is doing.

"Be a bit gentler," she instructs between playful giggles. Ron's eyes are on the piano but he's smiling as his fingers wander randomly, to annoy her. Both still smiling, Hermione gently takes his hands off the old piano and plays the correct notes of FurElise, the song Ron was trying to play. Little did Ron know that she plays. But instead of looking at the keys he stares at Hermione while she concentrates. He loves how focused she is…same as when she's doing a spell, or doing her homework. He's not smiling, laughing, it's simply a look of love. He doesn't know how, or when, or why but somewhere along the way, in their years of friendship, he fell in love with her. He's scared that she doesn't feel the same, because they've always been just friends, actually best friends.

Absentmindedly, his face is moving closer to hers and unable to resist any longer, he connects their lips gently and his eyes close. Hermione's hands stop playing, and she's not exactly sure what's happening, but her eyes close as soon as their lips touched, and she feels somehow fulfilled. Harry looks over in curiosity and smiles slightly at his two friends. He knows how much they have both wanted this, and for a while. He knew Ron had a crush on Hermione once he said she has 'nice skin' and Hermione kind of told him…though a bit indirectly. But he knows that it's now more than a crush.

As Hermione and Ron's lips part their faces barely do, and Ron can hear Hermione breathe like it's her heart beating. She's scared to look in his eyes, and nervous even though happy. But her eyes do slowly wander up to his and a sheepish smile crawls on her face. As soon as it does Ron smiles too. After many attempts at speaking, Hermione lets out "Wow." And Ron smiles even harder.
