"Jacob! Get in here!" *Sigh* It's hard enough I have survived a year without Bella. Now they want me to do all the work here? As I walk into the room I see Dad, Charlie, and some girl. Wait. Not just any girl, a really hot girl. I feel my heart skip a beat. "How you doing Jake?" I think I hear Charlie ask me. But I'm too lost in this mysterious girl's eyes to care. Hi. Hi was all she said but yet it feels as if she has said a thousand words.
"So you live here?" Lyana asks me. Lyana. What a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl. "Umm yea it's pretty old though" I say trying with all my strength not to say something stupid. "Well I think it's beautiful." "You think this is beautiful? Wait till you see the beach!" I took off but then stopped and looked back to make sure she was keeping up. I saw no one behind me. "Hey!" I hear in front of me. I looked straight ahead when I saw her about 400 feet away from me. "You know Jacob; if you want to show me where this is you have to be ahead of me right?" I stood there in awe. Wow she was amazing. "I'm coming and please, call me Jake." I race ahead.
When we get to the beach I ask her how she moved over here. "Well, a few months ago, a group of newborn vampires came to my house. I wasn't home, but my parents were. They tried their best to fight but when I got home, all I saw were their dead bodies lying in front of me." I saw a tear go down her cheek. Instantly my arms wrapped around her in a tight hug. Wait. Vampires? "So you're a vampire? " I asked puzzled as to how she knows about non-mortal creatures. "No! I'm human. Well, half human anyways. My dad was a werewolf but my mom was a mortal." She said as if it was her 20th time telling somebody this. Well they did a good job since they gave birth to such a beautiful girl , I say to myself. Or at least I thought I did. "Aww that's so sweet" she says as she looks into my eyes." We leaned in close and I closed my eyes, preparing for a kiss.
"Um Jake." I hear a familiar voice call me.
Oh no, it couldn't be. Not here, not now!
