Prompts: Starter Sentence - "They do not know. Nobody knows."
They do not know. Nobody knows. Nor do they understand. They are content to call us evil, cursed and damned. We may be both cursed and damned, but I would like to think that he have simply done evil things and we are not pure evil down in the core. We followed him into this madness, true, but redemption may yet come. Many do no think so, not anymore. *He* is dead and with him, three (1) of his sons. And yet, we continue to follow the remaining four (1) brothers into exile, damning ourselves further and further. Maybe they are right. Maybe we are evil down to the core.
A/N: Set after the attack on Doriath (where Celegorm, Caranthir and Curufin die) - so Fëanor is dead - but before the Sack of Sirion where Amrod and Amras are killed (1).
1: This depends on which version of The Silmarillion you follow. It could be the other way around - that four are dead and three still live - but I own the version of The Silmarillion where the whole burning alive thing doesn't happen.
