There he was. Arthur Kirkland, your best friend, and longtime crush, drunk as hell, and flirting with yet another drunk skank at the pub. You had had it. You've liked him for the longest time, and he has been so ignorant about it.

CRASH! The bar stool you were sitting on fell to the floor with a thud. Arthur looked up at you.

"Wha the bloody hell was tha for _?" He slurred.

Tears rolled down your face as you clenched your fists. "I've had it with you Arthur! I've liked you for a long time, and you've been so stupid as to not know it! Everytime we come to the pub together, you find some drunk skank and let her throw herself all over you!"

"_-_..." He said and reached towards you.

SMACK. He held his hand to his cheek where a red hand mark was forming. It hurt like hell.

Not because of how hard you had slapped him, but because he could see the pain in your eyes.

Tears continued to fall from your eyes as you screamed at him. "Don't touch me! I never want to see you or your stupid face ever again!" You ripped the necklace he had given you for your birthday off your neck and threw it at him. "And take your stupid necklace back!"

With that, you stormed out of the pub, and swung your leg over your motorcycle.

He ran out after you as you put on your helmet and sped away.

"_-_! WAIT!" He yelled after you.

You couldn't hear him, and you didn't want to anyway. You were so mad at him, you didn't care if you didn't ever see him again.

Arthur looked sadly after the lights on the back of your motorcycle as they faded into the distance. The slap you had given him had sobered him up enough to realize how badly he had messed up. He muttered curses under his breath as he stumbled home.

When you finally got home you slammed the door shut and threw yourself onto your bed. You turned up the music on your stereo as loud as it could go and drowned your sorrows out with rock music. Somehow you managed to fall into an uneasy sleep.
