The Proposal
This is my first Klaine fic! Please review! :)
Blaine knew Kurt was the one he wanted to marry. He just didn't have the courage to be heartbroken yet again. He was almost certain that Kurt would say yes if Blaine asked for his hand in marriage, but his heart was telling him one thing, and his head another.
Why was I so nervous? I've had serious conversations with my boyfriend before. This one was a little different. I would secretly throw in the topic of marriage and see his take on it, and then depending on his response I would ask him for his hand in holy matrimony.
"Hey, babe can we talk?" asked Blaine very calmly.
"Sure. About how amazing our sex was last night? Or how amazing it will be tonight?" replied Kurt with no sarcasm implied.
"Ha. No. Do you love me?"
"Shouldn't you know that by now? I tell you every night. Of course I love you."
"Okay, because I want to ask you something. But if you even look like you are about to laugh, I won't even consider sex tonight. Got it?" said Blaine, getting more nervous by the minute.
"Oh, jeez. You know that you are such a dork sometimes that it's just an impulse. So, no promises, but I will try."
I was so nervous that I forgot to get his opinion on the matter first. Too late now, its make or break time. How was I going to ask him? Should I think of a speech? No, Kurt wouldn't like that. Or would he? Why am I blanking on everything he's told me about his wedding and proposal dreams? Get it together Anderson. I'm just going to say whatever comes out of my mouth and hope it works.
"How does it sound if we spent the rest of our lives with each other?" Asked Blaine, almost sweating because he was so nervous.
"Well that's what I was hoping for. I mean, do you not feel the same way?"
"Are you kidding? You are all that matters to me. Without you, I don't even want to think about how much of a wreck I would be. You inspire me with your optimistic outlook on life and I adore that about you. What I'm trying to say is that, without you I'm nothing. So, Kurt Hummel, will you make me THE most ecstatic man alive by marrying me?"
"Holy shit. Um, let me think about it. ARE YOU KIDDING? Of course I will freaking marry you! Oh, and by the way, everything you just said is the same way I feel about you. I love you with everything I am, and everything I hope to become. 'This is Blaine my husband.' Yeah, I could get used to that."
"Kurt, you just made me so happy. I am so in love with you. Can you believe how far we've come? From friends in high school to fiancés. Oh, and did I mention that I love you?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just put that ring on my finger already!"
The night was just getting started. Kurt and Blaine were so madly in love with each other that nothing else mattered in the world at that moment. Blaine passionately kissed Kurt until, they decided to make Kurt's wish come true. Their sex was going to be amazing that night.
