"Hey Fangie! What are we doing out here again?" The little dragon asked, curiously following his bigger brother into the forested side of their island, having a feeling he knew what the answer was going to be. Fang lets out a small sigh, glancing to his side. "Father wants me to show you how to hunt little brother, this is one of the many aspects of life that you need to know how to do, otherwise you wont survive if you ever made the insane choice to go off on your own, and what have I said about calling me that?" He questioned his smaller sibling, not taking much of a liking toward the name. The little dragon just simply giggles playfully, even despite the harshness and serious tone in his brother's voice. He was used to this, coming up with many nicknames that irritated Fang, it was a fun way for him to break the cold silence that often surrounded the two of them. "I know, I know, its another one of the many names I have for you that you despise. But come on, try to find at least ONE of them amusing, how about Fango?" The small sibling suggested, tilting his head up at his big brother. Fang growls low, mostly out of irritation, though he knows to not get too angry with his sibling. They were still brothers after all, family. Slowing down his walking speed as they were both coming up to what appeared to be a good spot for an ambush attack. Whispering his answer to the little one. "No brother. Fangie, Fango and any other nicknames you have for me are not going to sound very threatening to our enemies are they? And especially not for when breeding season comes along." He replies as calmly as possible, not wanting to give away their recently discovered ambush spot, fully turning around to face his sibling. "Our parents named us after two of our most lethal and useful weapons when it comes to defending ourselves in fights, or going on the hunt just like this. Our fangs and claws are different from other dragons, darkness channels through our bodies and because of that, our teeth and claws can poison other beings. Only our species can handle this type of energy, this...type of power." Fang begins to hesitate slightly in his words, glancing down at the floor before turning away from his sibling and sitting down. Only gazing back a little when he speaks again. "I know you may think of it as a burden Claw, but trust me, it is good for us. Others know to stay away, and so our land can be kept at peace."
( Me and a good friend of mine have been roleplaying in a world inspired by How To Train Your Dragon for a long time now but we have no way of getting it to come to life other than doing RP for it. We have always said we'd love for it to be animated somehow, and maybe even turned into a comic web series. What I've written above is basically my first time ever trying to make this world come to life in a way that isn't RP, but in a form of writing. Not the best I know, but like I said, first time trying this :3 )
