Julie and Austin

Chapter 1

This was the day. The day that Julie was going to tell Austin how she felt. She had run it though her mind so many times so couldn't count. Ever since Austin had come to town, they were always together. That had the best friendship, but today was different because Austin was going to Julie's school. Julie didn't want him to find out that she has no friends. That she was a loner. Julie was very scared. Scared about Austin coming to school, and how Austin will feel when Julie tells him.

It was the moment of truth Julie. They were at school and Austin was about to find out that she has no friends.

"So the school looks nice." Austin said to Julie.

"I guess so, what ever." Julie said without even looking at Austin.

"What wrong Julie?" Julie didn't say anything. Austin continued "Please tell me Julie, we are friends right?"

"That's it." Julie said.

"What is?" Austin asked.

"That we are friends." Julie added.

"So?" Austin asked.

"That you are…" Julie paused for a moment, the continued, "That you are my only friend Austin." At that moment Julie had tears in her eyes.

Austin bent down to hug her but she moved away. Austin was confused.

"I am sorry Austin, I haven't told you the whole truth." Julie said and walked over to a bench and Austin followed, and sat next to her.

"What is it Julie?" Austin asked.

Julie took a deep breath and said in a very low voice, "I like you Austin. I like you a lot."

Austin was amazed at what he was hearing then he said. "I like you to Julie."

Then he pause for a moment and continued "I even like you that much that…Julie will you be my girlfriend."

Julie was gob smacked, and then she yelled, "Yes!!" and gave him a huge hug. Austin was smiling then the bell went. They walked of to class hand in hand.

It was the end of school and Julie and Austin were about to go home when Austin asked,

"Hey Julie can I give you a ride home."

"But you gave me a lift to school so I hope that I can get a ride home?' Julie said.

"Oh no sorry." Austin said, and then continued "Sorry you have to find your new way home because this seat is for my new girlfriend." Austin said and laughed with one of his famous smiles. Julie gave Austin a light punch on the shoulder, and sat on the back of the bike.

Austin and Julie had just pulled into Wisteria Lane, and stopped outside Edie's place. Austin turned of the motorbike and waited for Julie to get off before him.

Julie started to walk to her place before Austin stopped her.

"Julie!" Austin yelled and ran to the middle of the street where she was standing.

Julie turned around to find Austin walking up to her. Austin was only centimetres away from Julie. Austin was breathing deep and bent down and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. Austin then stood back. Julie then looked Austin in the eyes. She was thinking at Austin was the first boy that has every kissed her on the cheek. Then she realized that this could be her only chance, so with thinking anymore dropped her books and leaped into Austin's arms and started kissing him. To Julie's shock Austin wasn't pulling back, she thought that he must of want to kiss her that's why he gave her a kiss on the cheek. After a couple of minutes they stopped. Austin picked up Julie's book, and walked her to her door.

"Thanks Austin." Julie said.

"It's okay Julie. But what are you thankin' me for Julie?" Austin said with a smile.

"Thanks for everything, for understanding me." Julie said while opening the door to the house.

"I will call you later." Austin said.

"Well will see." Julie winked and walked inside closing the door behind her.
