Hey guys! Yes, I know, I haven't updated TWABA yet. I'm halfway done with chapter 6 so it should be up in a couple of days or more.
Anyway! I had this idea pop in my head and i decided to put it out! I'm sorry if this is confusing to you! Its my first one-shot so bear with me!
Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail. If I did, well, Fairy Tail would have a little more romance to the story!
To Happy, Lucy was always heavy when he carried her.
No matter what the situation was, is or will be, Happy would always complain about her weight. Lucy, like all women would say, would retort back saying she's a LOT lighter than Happy takes her for. She was only 110 lbs, exercised daily and ate healthy foods. Natsu was heavier by several lbs and ate like a beast. Yet Happy claimed Natsu was a lot lighter.
But since we're on the topic of Natsu, where in this one-shot is our beloved fire dragonslayer?
He, as always, would be the third person, watching from behind all the commotion, not agreeing to either side. Well, maybe Happy's, but still! Natsu would never intervene in their small cat-dog (or cat-human?) fights, saying it was entertainment to him when he got bored.
But when he was fed up with his entertainers bickering at each other, Natsu would nonchalantly tell Happy and Lucy to drop the subject and for Lucy to ride on his back. Happy would retort back some snarky comment like, "Natsu! You're gonna be squashed by Lucy! I don't want you to die!". And the lovely blonde celestial mage would say back to the blue-haired cat something on the lines of "Shut your trap, you feline! I'm not THAT heavy!".
Natsu would chuckle at this and then would say "Happy, I hate to admit, Lucy is lighter than me, even though she's a weirdo. Luce, just hop on". Both the feline and the mage would be all surprised at his words; usually Natsu would just agree with Happy right on the spot.
Lucy would question him as to why he's being so nice to her but, in the end, they both knew that she would eventually agree and then hop onto Natsu's back. Natsu would say that "Lucy's not heavy, kind of light. Like a feather. Delicate and beautiful in a sense, ya know?". Lucy would have her cheeks flushed to a crimsion red and she would be touched by his words, then question him again why he was so different to her. He replied, "It's just you Luce, just you I can say these sort of things to".
And then Happy would snicker at the pair and yell to the world that "they liiiiiiike each other!", then would fly away to the guild to tell Mira of his success on the two. He would leave an embarrassed Lucy and an angry, but flushed, Natsu alone but, Happy knew they both had feelings for each other. Sooner or later, they're bound to tell each other.
And sooner or later, Happy would finally admit Lucy's not heavy. She was as light as a feather.
Just not now, because, to Happy, 9 months made her look fat again.
And there! My first one-shot! Overall, I'm happy about it! There could be a little more tweaks to it here and there, but then my point would take MUCH longer to get across.
