Final Battle
It will be a little while yet
Before I, and others will take the bet
With life at stake
I can feel my rage about to break
I gaze upon a well traveled path
And to see vermin upon it increases my wrath
I turn to see my warriors and friends
Preparing to fight with me till the end
The dawn of battle has come quite near
The call to arms I can now easily hear
I pass the writings of old
To travel to my fate as they foretold
My eyes begin to burn with a crimson light
As I think of the future fight
The time for battle is now here
I stride out to face my foe without fear
The vermin leader draws his sword
And charges forward with his horde
I roar my fury to the sky
And charge forward with a wrathful cry
I swing my axe down
Striking vermin to the ground
The time has now come
And sadly only some
Will leave this bloodbath
This fact only increases my wrath
I fight my way through the horde
So I can face it's lord
Blade crashes upon blade
This is the test to see who will first fade
I know my hares are driving the vermin back
For with desperation and hate their leader attacks
I strike in fury again
And to the Darkgates this leader I send
We all keep fighting till the last vermin dies
My last roar of victory to the skies
It will be a little while yet
Till I have to pay my bet
The sands are dark red
Many have fallen, and are dead
While most are taken inside
I stand here watching the tide
I wince slightly from the growing pain
And my pink eyes stare at the slain
My time draws close
I will have to say goodbye to my mountain coast
I watch my warrior friends
I know my time must soon end
Blood surrounds me
Soon my soul will be free
As I drawn a ragged breath
I think of the legacy that is left
By warriors of the mountain of fire
Who's courage will never tire
Blood swirls all around
Like it thickly coats the ground
As I drawn another breath
I know time for me has almost left
A final look around my home
This is a journey I must travel alone
I turn to stare up at the sky
And whisper my parting words of goodbye
Its strange, I feel so cold
And my axe falls from my hold
My pain will soon go away
Which I got from the fray
I see mountain ladies and lords
And to them I walk towards
I go to stand with the rulers of old
That was my destiny that was foretold
