Chapter 1: If I Never knew you

Simba sat on high hill thinking about what's happened over the past three years since the war between the Pridelanders and Outsiders. Simba is now a proud grandfather of three beautiful cubs. His beautiful daughter Kiara has grown well and her mate Kovu. His dark brown mane has fully grown in, like when he came back and became king and made Nala; his beautiful mate his queen. He sighed and looked to sky a shooting star shot by.

"Simba" called a voice

The middle age king turned his red mane head and smiled. There walking up the hill was his beautiful queen.

"What are you doing up so late? Our grandcubs are waiting for you, you know" said Nala once she sat by her mate

"Yea I know, dear" Simba said nuzzling Nala

They pulled away and looked at the starry sky.

Nala sighed and called "Simba"

Simba looked at his mate and replied "Yes love"

"I just wanted to know, what would it would be like if we never knew each other"

Simba thought for a moment and started to sing.

If I never felt this love
I would have no inkling of
How precious life can be

And if I never held you
I would never have a clue
How at last I'd find in you
The missing part of me

In this world so full of fear
Full of rage and lies
