CHAPTER 1

THOUGHTLESSNESS

Something that always made me angry was the fact that in almost every story I'd ever read the hero was the main character of the book. I guess it makes sense because in the end we all expect the villain or monster to die. So even if the main character dies or something he would be a hero, right?

And for some reason, even if he is a nerd or geek or whatever he always ends up with a girlfriend whose crying and begging him to hold on, or not go towards the light, or some other mushy saying that she keeps on repeating like a broken record.

Now, at this point, if she already hasn't confessed her love, she'll tell him at this point. He's dying, for god's sake! He won't just jump up and say "Okay, let's go and get married right away!" He'll just die so what's the whole point in telling him? Now, the question I have for you ladies is, does it to make you feel better?

Sorry, I'm getting off topic. Yes, there was a topic and it was how stories are always about heroes. Well, that's about to change. Because this story is all about a monster.

And that monster is me.
