House had a way of touching him that left him gasping, wanting more, and needing more.

Some days when Wilson was at his wits end after dealing with one of House's moods he would think of the nights, the nights when House would shift closer to him when they were on the couch, running his hand up and down his thigh. It would instantly turn him on, making him susceptible to any of House's demands.

House made him come undone in different ways, at different times.

When he'd discovered House was taking methadone it had been an awful feeling, it was like a lead weight was in his stomach, weighing him down. His skin had broken into a cold sweat and he did all he could to stop his voice from shaking when he yelled at his lover.

Wilson wasn't stupid of course, he knew he would outlive his lover. He had always known that, with the amount of Vicodin House took, the amount of alcohol he consumed and hell even how fast he drove. It was inevitable.

At some point House would die, and he would be left alone; but House wanting to accelerate that process...

It left him breathless, his chest hurting as he tried to gasp for air.

Watching House walk away, throw his cane in the trash only made it worse.

As far as Wilson was concerned House was throwing him in the trash as well, so he waited, tried to be patient and was surprised to see House putting forth an effort.

Clasping that red tie in hand he pulled House close, kissing him until the other man gasped and bucked against him before releasing him and leaving to talk to Cuddy.

He wasn't surprised when his lover decided against the treatment once and for all, due to a lack of proper inhibitions concerning solving a case, that before methadone would have been much easier to solve. It could have even been solved in minutes.

When House let him into the apartment that night he didn't know what to say, so instead he led him into the bedroom and helped him ease himself down onto the bed before he curled up behind him and tugged the older man back into his arms, absorbing the tremors of pain.

Wilson allowed House to come undone.
