"Oh, no, baby, what did they do to you?"

She knew that tone of voice anywhere. For all that she was once worth, she wanted to rev up her engine and get out of this hell hole with the one who truly ever cared for her.

She remembered days long gone with the brothers sitting in the backseat as her second owner, John, crisscrossed the country. Looking for anything to take his anger out on and letting the tears fall on her steering wheel while the boys slept. Of course, Dean protecting Sammy from any bumps in the road. Baby remembered the multiple creatures killed upon her. Foul creatures that dared hurt her family. If she could have she'd have killed them herself, but alas she had to let them take care of her. After every hunt they'd always clean her up nice and good. Little Sammy wasn't too pleased about it, but Dean... He always knew how to care for her.

She remembered the day Sam left. Dean had never driven so fast. It was a long, fast drive. They drove for days it seemed. Everything was silent. Too silent for the Winchester family. Sure they've done stakeouts and such, but this was almost deathly silent. Finally Dean spun onto the side of the road in the middle of the desert. He screamed a scream that rattled the windows and started to panic. To try and comfort him, she lightly switched the radio on. Dean was under the impression that he probably hit the knob during his freak out. He made haste to turn it off and sat there for a moment collecting his thoughts. Dean decided he wasn't ready to go back yet and a night under the stars was what he needed.

She knew his secrets. All of them.

Dean knew what it took to fix her up. He knew her secrets. All of them.

She'd do anything for him. Be his getaway. Be his escape. Be his home. Be his. Period.

Three years being used as a battering ram, then let to sit in the rain since hasn't been helping her. It's been years since she's seen Sam. Dean hasn't been himself for just as long. Occasionally she catches him staring at her from a distance. Almost as if she's beneath him. Perhaps it's mistaken for longing. A longing to be on the road with the rest of the family, Sam.

No this, voice beside her didn't belong to the current Dean. The voice had to be a mirage, a hallucination. This Dean is too sweet and long gone.
