the cast of CCS/TRC are products

CLAMP.
(They would also like for me to take this time to point out to the readers that they are reluctant actors/characters in this fan fiction… as they are not being paid. Because I am broke. And cheap. And forcefully made them agree to (be my slaves) do volunteer work.)
Summary (extended version)
(She said, I love you. He said, that's a dangerous thing to say.) Sakura's a gypsy
separated from her caravan. She's taken in by a traveling circus, Circo del Cielo,
and nothing is the same for her anymore, especially not after she meets the Ringmaster, Syaoran.
Who would have thought loving a man could be so dangerous?

Prologue
My name is Sakura. I was raised by a traveling caravan, a group of Steorran people who all came from Steorra Country. I wasn't born a Steorran since I've been an orphan since birth, taken in by the people of my caravan. Taking in orphaned children is a common scene in my group. A lot of us were orphans, but we carry on the Steorran tradition. It's how we were raised and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I was content living my life with my family, even if we were forced to steal and do what we could for money and food. It was our way of life. We never settled in one place for long. The longest we stayed in a city or town was for a month before we'd go on our way again. I didn't mind growing up in such a way. I got to see places that I wouldn't have gotten to see if we settled in one place. I love to travel, you see. Growing up to be a nomad made you love the traveling. I was content seeing what part of the world I could, but I had always wondered what more there was out there to see.
It was a wonder to me that I would eventually find out just what else there was in the world and beyond. I never expected to get separated from my caravan, let alone be picked up by a traveling circus called the Circo del Cielo. I knew magic existed in the world. My people were known for their magical practices and tarot readings. But everything I knew was small in comparison to what the circus showed me. Before it all happened, I never thought of all the things I'd be able to see and experience with a magical, traveling circus. But then again, I don't think anyone ever expects to travel with a circus.
I certainly didn't expect it. Nor did I expect to learn more about myself than I would have if I hadn't gone with them, and at the same time, fall in love with the Ringmaster.
Who would have thought loving a man could be so dangerous?
