Author's Note: Okay, okay. I know what you're thinking. 'What is she doing? What happened to I'll Find Strength in Pain?' It's not abandoned, I'm just having a little… trouble… with the current chapter. (Please don't kill me!) This idea was also floating around in my head when I started IFSIP, so I figured, maybe, if I clear out my head by writing a quick little one shot about this, all the writer's block will magically float away. Hopefully….
Misconceptions
Sam Evans disliked Blaine Anderson from the moment he met him. He was a stuck-up, rich, prep-school boy and Sam wanted nothing to do with him. It was probably unfair for Sam to judge him, but he was rich and Sam thought that gave him enough reason to hate Blaine Anderson. He had to work at a strip club while this kid was lounging around blowing money on fancy cars and expensive shoes.
So then during glee club, Sam and Blaine got in a little… disagreement, that might have just maybe ended with Sam pushing Blaine and Blaine running off somewhere. Well of course Kurt didn't like that. So he decided to confront Sam about his problem with Blaine.
"I just don't wanna hang with some rich jerk." Sam told Kurt.
"Blaine's not rich." Kurt blurts out.
"What? But what about the shoes and clothes and Dalton and the car?" Sam asked.
"Blaine got into Dalton on a full scholarship. As for the clothes and the car… they were from before."
"Before the stock market crashed and daddy had to move them from the mansion to a middle class house? Poor baby."
"Sam… Blaine lives in a foster home."
"What?"
"Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were arrested two years ago for child abuse."
"Like… they hurt Blaine?"
Kurt nodded. "After he got into Dalton his friends Wes and David noticed something was up and figured it out. Listen… you can't tell anyone about this, okay? He's really… insecure about it all."
"Okay."
Author's Note: (Again.) See? Short. And after I wrote this, I wrote at least 500 more words for IFSIP. Making my grand total 721… besides the point. I'm getting there. I WILL FINISH THE LAST CHAPTER (S?). (Still a little unclear about how many chapter left)
