As everyone marvels over you and points at your scar, amazed that you have survived such a deadly curse from the Dark Lord.
But it will always be like this wouldn't it? It will always be like this. You are the star, who everyone looks up to and is amazed of. And I will always watch you from afar, careful not to break that distance between us and not to let you catch me staring.
There will always be boundaries between us. Fate will always keep us apart. I have always known you were never meant for me and I'm okay with that now. I know I will never have you anyway.
You have your beautiful scar and what do I have?
The dark mark.
You have you friends' love and what do I get?
Hate. Pain. Anger and abused.
Tortured in the dungeons by my father.
It will always be like this. Never what I want it to be. Never what I hope, it would someday be. What I wish it would be. Hopes and dreams are based on fiction. Based on lies and fantasy, not the fact. And I know dreams will never come true. I never did, in my case and I have known that since I was a child.
