A/N: Behold. A pairing-less drabble in Sheena's POV. All must cower. Flee in terror.
...Don't. Just read. Then review. It's so simple; you should know to review after you read. It's like putting 'I' before 'E'.
The fire flickered before us. It was over. I looked around the campfire, without catching any of the disbelieving eyes. We had done it. Mithos was gone. But no eyes were happy. How could we be? It was over. We would be separating soon.
How could we? How could I leave these people? We were like family. Again my eyes traveled around the fire.
At first, they rested on the blonde, usually cheerful, clumsy Colette. The happiness had died from her eyes and face. Colette was like a sister, a little sister. Colette was always there to cheer someone up, even without trying.
Next, I looked at the leader of our group, our family, Lloyd. While he was and always had been the leader, he was very much like a little brother, to even Genis.
Who my eyes fell upon next. The silver-haired half elf was the most hurt at Mithos' betrayal and death. He was intelligent, much more intelligent then anyone his age I have ever known. He was a brother, the one that would help you with your homework when you were good and scold you when you were bad.
Next came Raine. Raine was the mother figure. She loved us all very, very much, but she would yell at you when you did something wrong, but in her heart she was never really that angry.
Next came the father figure of the group, Regal, a convict, a murder, and one of the most caring people you could ever hope to meet.
The next member of our group was Presea. The quiet girl was a sister, but in a strange the youngest and smallest member was very much an older sister to us all.
Next was Zelos. I really didn't know where he stood. Sometimes, he is definitely the younger brother, acting so childish. But sometimes, rarely, but still sometimes, he was an older brother, a teaching brother, almost.
And then there's me. I suppose I'm an older sister. I did my best to keep the rest of them out of trouble.
As I gaze around the campfire once more and catch the eyes of the entire group. No. We're not like family, I thought as I stood and lay down in my bedroll, We are family.
