(kaoru P.O.V.)

"Haha! stupid, disgusting, insect fag!" a couple of thugs say throwing rocks at me, I dodge most of them but a few hit me. Tears come to me eyes and my breathing becomes hitched, I told hika that this would happen if we told the others. The host club was excepting, as were our parents but everyone else hates us now, and it hurt despite saying over and over, 'sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me' . yay right, that is a total lie.

Tears run down my cheeks and a sob racks my body as I hide myself on a balcony away from everyone else. I sit behind the railing and curl into a ball sobbing into my knees, god, I really am pathetic.

Suddenly, strong arms wraps themselves around me and i'm in someone's lap. I look up and am met with the honey eyes of my twin. I should have known he would find me, he always does, just as I always find him.

"Shh shh, Kaoru. whats the matter?" hikaru asks rocking me back and forth

"I Kn-knew this would happ-en " I say trying to calm myself "The others, our classmates don't accept us, they find it gross." I snuggle closer to his chest, not meeting his gaze.

"Kaoru, look at me." he says and I reluctantly comply "seems like there is always someone who disapproves, shaking there head like they know about me and you, Don't you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine, and life makes loves look hard. the stakes are high, the water high and this love is ours, and they can't take what ours.I don't care what they have to say and i'll protect you from them I promise. our family and the host club accept us and that's all that matters, I love you and you love me, even if our family and the host club didn't accept us, we have each other. its not theirs to spectulate if its wrong and i'll fight their doubt and give you hope, okay? they can't take whats ours"

I smile and nod before throwing my arms around hika's neck and kissing him senseless "I love you"

"I love you too, kaoru"

This love is ours
