Once upon a time, King Sonic ruled the planet of Mobius with his wife, Queen Amy. He had a slave-servant named Dr. Eggelot. Dr. Eggelot was sick of being the king's slave, so he decided to get his revenge on him by creating a little scheme.
The doctor went to a forest far from the kingdom and he searched and searched until he saw it—the hottest chili pepper ever.
"Aha! I have finally found the Face-Peeler Maximus!" chuckled Dr. Eggelot. He plucked the pepper from the bush it grew on and ran back to see King Sonic.
He said to the king, "May I prepare your lunch today?"
King Sonic combed his quills and adjusted his crown. "Yes, Egghead. I would like a plate of twelve chilidogs. Chop, chop! Make it snappy, I'm hungry!" he snapped.
Dr. Eggelot bowed to the king and quickly ran to the kitchen. He opened the cupboard, took out a pot, then he took a knife from out of a drawer. After he pulled the Face-Peeler Maximus out of his pocket he began to chop it up with the knife. The doctor turned on the stove, put the pot over it filled with water, and shoved the pepper slices into it. And he began making his evil chili.
When he was done, Dr. Eggelot went to King Sonic with his finely prepared chilidog.
The king's adviser Tails held up a finger suddenly. "Hold on, Eggelot. I must inspect this for King Sonic." He stuck the same finger in the chili and drew it out again, licking it. At once Tails choked when the flames of the Face-Peeler Maximus scorched his dry throat. He couldn't speak up about how spicy it was so he left the matter be and Dr. Eggelot kneeled down below King Sonic's throne, presenting the chilidog as if it were King Sonic's scabbard.
King Sonic snatched the chilidog from his servant and opened his mouth to eat it, but Queen Amy stopped him.
"Hold on, honey," she said. "You can't trust Dr. Eggelot."
"Nonsense!" Ignoring Queen Amy's suspicions, King Sonic took a bite of Dr. Eggelot's chilidog. After a few seconds smoke began to billow out of his ears and he soon breathed fire. He covered his mouth after everyone around him was burned at the stake…literally. He then grabbed his water glass from his throne's armrest, stuck out his tongue, and quenched the flames of his mouth by pouring the water on his tongue. "Mm…" King Sonic paused, licking his lips. His eyes were slightly watering and his forehead was beaded with sweat. "I've never had a chilidog this spicy in my whole life!" He chuckled, looking at Queen Amy and jumping out of his throne. "Dr. Eggelot, as your king I order you to make these spicy-hot chilidogs for the kingdom village for seven years."
Dr. Eggelot was furious about how his plan didn't work as he had expected. He expected that the power of the Face-Peeler Maximus pepper would kill King Sonic right on the spot. He obeyed the king with his better judgement at mind and everyone in the kingdom of Mobius lived happily ever after—well everyone except Dr. Eggelot, who was demoted to a lousy chilidog chef.
