I'll Save You
Axel barely manages to suppress the scream.
This wasn't meant to happen.
Axel stumbles across the floor, searching frantically for the phone he can't find.
He needs to wake him up.
Axel grabs the man's head, silver hair falling between his fingers, his beautiful eyes-
Closed Shut.
Axel shakes his head, wondering what he's done wrong.
He only went out for ten minutes.
Axel scoops Riku up with two hands.
Just for the takeaway.
And carries him over to the bedroom.
He thought Riku loved him
Axel gently lays Riku down, lightly tracing his fingertips across his face.
You can't leave me.
One small kissed placed on his forehead, seems to go unnoticed.
The tears start to fall.
Two hands clench at his small frame.
Why didn't you tell me?
Shaking violently as the eyes don't open.
We could have worked it out.
Axel leaps from the bed, unable to control the tears.
Some fairytale, Riku.
Stumbling down the hall way and back to the living room.

Grabbing the small container
The lid already off.
Slowly walking over to the kitchen.
The pills making a racket.
Letting out a shuddering sigh as he fills the glass
It clinking agaisnt teeth as it follows a pill.
Axel glances to the bedroom door.
Followed by another.
Shaking back down the hall.
And another, and another.
Suddenly collapsing onto the bed.
"Lets make our life a fairytale, Axel."
Wrapping his arms around Riku.
"You're like the prince."
Closing his eyes.
"Saving me."
Letting out one last breath.
We'll be buried together.
Before the haze clouds over his vision.
I'm sorry I didn't save you.
Slowly drifting to eternal sleep.
I'll meet you now.
Red contrasting sharply with silver.
I'll be with you.
Breathing stops.
Wait for me, I'll save you. I'll be with you.
Riku wakes up from being unconscious.
Just us two.
Feeling a limp arm over him.
I'll save you Riku.
